A weekly seminar was presented by (Dr. Dilovan Sayfuddin Saadi) at English Department for the teaching staff on Monday 3rd of January on (Cooperative Principle in the Interaction between Teachers and Students). To have accuracy in communication and interaction, we need speaker and listener who should cooperate with each other. This would be done by following some principles followed by Grice (1975) (Conversational Maxims). The principles or the maxims are: Maxim of quantity, maxim of Relevance, maxim of Quality and maxim of manner.
