As part of our commitment to mitigating the negative impacts of climate change and restoring ecological balance, we have designed a project to establish an artificial forest in a small area within Erbil Province. This initiative aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 15 (Life on Land) by promoting afforestation and biodiversity conservation. Our project aims to enhance environmental resilience, improve air quality, and contribute to a healthier ecosystem for both nature and local communities. The artificial forest will serve as a model for sustainable land management, demonstrating the benefits of reforestation in combating desertification and climate-related challenges. This project will be conducted at the Forestry Development Unit, College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences, Salahaddin University-Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq, reinforcing our commitment to research-driven solutions for environmental sustainability
