Department of electrical engineering at college of engineering, university of Salahaddin arranged a scientific visit for the students of the fourth stage – power to the Khabat thermal power station, west of Erbil on November 23, 2017.

The visit came within a series of applied scientific visits and field trips organized by the electrical engineering department under the supervision of Mr. Sarkar Jawhar and Mr. Haider Ahmed to contribute in development of practical reality that contribute to keep abreast with academic information.

The visit had achieved scientific benefits to learn how to deal with industrial developments, operation of machinery, equipment, production lines for electricity generating, steam boilers and power distribution in Kurdistan.

At the end of the visit, the supervisors expressed their thanks and gratitude for the engineers at the station who provided students with their work expertise.
