Dr. Muhammed A. Ibrahim joined the  Department of Electrical Engineering at Salahaddin University-Erbil, Iraq in 1992 as a Research  Assistant. Later he was appointed as an Assistant Lecturer and next as Assistant Professor  in the same department in 2004 and 2008, respectively. Since 2014 he is a Full Professor in the department. Dr. Ibrahim earned his MSc & PhD in Electronics & Communication Engineering from Istanbul Technical University, Turkey in 1999 & 2004, respectively. His research interests focus meanly on electronic circuit analysis, design and applications. Dr. Ibrahim is a reviewer in many scientific journals.

    He was the manager of the engineering consulting bureau from 2014-2016. He is now head of quality assurance unit of the college of engineering.

    He got his B.Sc. degree in architecture in 1998 and the master degree in vernacular architecture in 2009. He participated in a number of local and international conferences in Baghdad, Germany, China and the United States of America.

    His papers are published in local and international scientific journals. He has a published book written in Kurdish language, contains essays on a variety of architectural issues.

    He is practicing architecture as a profession since 1998, when he established his design office. His designs include educational, commercial and housing projects, most of them are implemented in Erbil city.

    He worked as an architect in the Ministry of Reconstruction, UN-FAO, and participated in a program submitted to UNESCO for the nomination of Erbil citadel to be within the list of world heritage sites.
