Summary
Gender is a term that refers to the social and cultural roles that society expects individuals to follow based on their biological characteristics such as sex (male or female). But gender is not only related to biological dimensions, but extends to include cultural expressions, personal identity, and social expectations that may differ from one society to another. When there is discrimination between males and females in terms of upbringing and education, or the granting of roles, trust, and responsibility, or discrimination in economic terms in terms of food, clothing, ownership, and the provision of various basic needs, as well as in terms of opportunities, time, and type of work, without a doubt, this discrimination between the sexes generates various social problems within the family and society.
