On February 27, 2025, Dr. Chiai Maaroof Shareef, a Lecturer at Salahaddin University, College of Science, Environmental Science and Health Department, presented a seminar on Climate Change from a Gender Perspective for Emma Organization for Human Development. The discussion focused on the disproportionate impact of climate change on different genders, emphasizing the vulnerabilities faced by women and marginalized communities. It also highlighted the importance of integrating gender-sensitive approaches into climate policies and adaptation strategies.
