On 1^st October 2024, an interview of Dr Rebar T. Mzuri with Rudaw TV has been conducted to discuss the delineation flood susceptible zones in Erbil related to its urban expansion. The interview highlighted key issues related to climate change, including its effects on recurrent of flooding in the region. Dr. Rebar provided insights into scientific research, adaptation strategies, and sustainable management approaches to address environmental challenges especially flooding. This discussion aligns with the objectives of SDG 13 (Climate Action) and SDG 14 (Maintaining a Local Ecosystem) as part of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
