Seminar on Waste Generation and Recycling

On February 25, 2025, as part of the Symposium on SDG12: Responsible Consumption and Production, a seminar was held focusing on waste generation and recycling. Assist. Prof. Dr. Jarjis Mustafa Khadr delivered an insightful presentation on key sustainability metrics, including the amount of waste generated (measured in metric tons), the amount of waste recycled, and the importance of publishing sustainability reports.
During the seminar, Dr. Khadr emphasized the significance of tracking and managing waste to promote environmental responsibility within institutions. He highlighted the best practices in waste reduction, the challenges in implementing sustainable waste management systems, and the role of transparent reporting in driving accountability and progress toward sustainability goals.
This seminar contributed to raising awareness about waste management strategies and reinforced the importance of data-driven approaches to achieving sustainable consumption and production.
