Ms. Zhian Rashid has successfully defended her dissertation at the college of science, environment department, 14/11/2019. The title of her study was “Accumulation of heavy metals in the dust, human scalp hair and levels of 5 plant species as bioindicator for air pollution from Erbil steel factory”, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Farhad Hassan Aziz. Her study is considered the first study conducted in Kurdistan and Iraq in this field.
